Digital stamp cards
Digital stamp cards your customers can’t lose
A digital stamp card works like the paper card in your customer’s wallet, except it lives on their phone and the stamps are stored with us, not on the card. They show the QR code, you scan it, and the free wash is tracked for you.
Three stages of the same card
Every card updates as it is scanned. These examples use a made-up car wash with the default rule of five paid washes.

How customers get their card
At the till
A member of staff enters the customer’s email address, and optionally their name and car registration. The card is emailed straight away, and today’s wash can be stamped in the same step.
From your join QR code
Print the join poster from your dashboard and put it where customers wait. They scan it with their phone camera, fill in their details and send a request. Once a member of staff approves it, the card is emailed to them.
What is on the card
The card is a page that opens from the link in their email, in any phone browser. Customers can bookmark it or add it to their home screen.
- Your car wash name and logo, and your programme name, such as “Wash Club”.
- Their stamps so far, for example 3 of 5, and how many washes until the free one.
- The QR code staff scan, on a white panel so it reads well in bright light.
- Their car registration, if it was added when they joined.
- Optional links to your Facebook page and your Google reviews.
- A clear “your next wash is free” message once they have earned it.
How stamps and rewards work
One stamp per paid wash
Staff record the wash when they scan the card. A free wash does not count towards the next one.
You set the target
Anywhere from 1 to 50 paid washes. With the default of five, the sixth wash is free. You also choose how the reward is described on the card.
Expiry is optional
Free washes can expire after a number of days you choose, or never expire at all.
Earned stamps are safe
Changing your rule never takes away stamps a customer has already earned. New washes follow the new rule.
Redeeming takes a confirmation
Scan the card, confirm, and the free wash is used. If something was recorded by mistake, a manager can reverse it and the history is kept.
Pause for new joiners
Switch the programme off to stop new customers joining. Rewards already earned stay valid.
Paper stamp cards compared with digital
| Topic | Paper card | iGo2Wash digital card |
|---|---|---|
| Lost or forgotten cards | The stamps go with the card. | The card is in their email, and staff can send it again. |
| Copied stamps | A stamp or pen mark can be copied. | Only a signed-in member of staff can add a wash. |
| Knowing your regulars | No record of who visits or how often. | Visits, new customers and free washes on your dashboard. |
| Changing the offer | Cards already handed out show the old offer. | Change the rule in Settings; earned stamps are kept. |
| Printing | Reorder cards and replace worn-out stamps. | Nothing to print except an optional join QR poster. |
Private by design
The link to each card contains a long random code. It never contains the customer’s email address or an account number, and neither does the QR code. The code cannot be edited to add washes, because the count lives on our server.
Each card belongs to one car wash. No other business on iGo2Wash can find or see your customers, and joining your loyalty programme is never treated as agreeing to marketing. See our privacy policy for the detail.
Questions about digital stamp cards
- Do customers need an app or an account?
- No. The card opens from a link in their email, in the browser already on their phone. There is no password to remember.
- What if they delete the email or change phone?
- Staff can search for them by name, email or registration and send the card link again. The stamps are stored with us, so nothing is lost.
- Can a customer use their card at another car wash?
- No. Each card belongs to the car wash that issued it, and so do its stamps.
- What else does the software do?
- The stamp card is the part your customers see. The scanner, dashboard and staff accounts are covered on our car wash loyalty software page.
